The goal of this project was to learn about the manufacturing and assembly processes that go into creating a product. Working with a team, we disassembled an old clothing iron, divided up the parts, and then 3D modeled our parts using Solidworks.

We were then tasked with putting the parts into an assembly and making sure each component fit properly. We were able to see all the components that go into creating an iron through an exploded view.
